Quincy A. Taylor
CAD/Environmental Technician
qtaylor@quible.com 4Matt

Quincy grew up on a horse farm in south western Virginia.  After graduating from high school, he spent the seven years in the U.S. Army serving as an electronics engineer.  Following his time in the military, he spent four months solo hiking the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains, eventually leading him to his new home in Western North Carolina.  Quincy attended Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa on the GI Bill and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Education in 2014.  Post-graduation, he worked in the wilderness therapy field as a wilderness guide until 2018.  After becoming a father, Quincy decided it was time to come out of the woods and redirect his career.  Quincy graduated from Asheville-Buncombe Technical College with a Computer Aided Drafting/Design degree in 2019 and began work in Quible’s Western Office as a CAD/Environmental Technician later that year.

Quincy, his son Reed and dog Remee reside in Black Mountain, where they enjoy spare time exploring rivers, mountains, and the Star Wars Universe!  When not on the trail or in “outer space” Quincy can often be found swinging in a hammock, reading the day away.   One of Quincy’s life-goals is to design and build an Earthship as part of a sustainable homestead on a mountaintop.
